A Guide to Prodigy Disc – Our newest disc golf partner
Are you new to Disc Golf? Not quite sure what the four numbers mean on most discs? Luckily, your premier Canadian disc golf store is now offering Prodigy Discs. Each Prodigy disc is named for exactly what they're supposed to do. Designed to help players figure out what disc they need for each shot quickly and easily, the Prodigy Disc golf numbering system is so simple anyone can understand it.
Let's check out the M4 as an example. The 'M' stands for Midrange Disc. The number '4' represents the stability of the flight path. Models range from 1-7 with 1 being the most over stable and 7 being the most understable. Therefore, the '4' in M4 means that it falls in the middle of the stability rating, making it a stable to understable disc. A perfect go-to-disc for all disc golfers.
At DiscSports.ca we are building a wide range of plastic options for different players. Adding Prodigy Disc golf discs is helping us accomplish just that. Prodigy is used by disc golf champions including Chris Dickerson (2020 USDGC Champion), Kevin Jones (2020 Disc Golf Pro Tour Champion), and Catrina Allen (DGPT Ledgestone Open Champion).
